I talked to our ministry contact again today and we talked about what we should wear/ bring to Calcutta. Here is what he said:

1. Clothing:

               a. no patches or holes in any clothing

               b. upper arms, an all of your legs must be covered

               c. nothing transparent

2. Other items:

               a. bugspray. bugspray. bugspray! Can't say this enough. no mosquitos=no malaria

               b. sleeping pads/bags there are a few mattresses but not enough for all of us. bring something soft.

               c. Something for the kids, the missions home has 16 boys in it currently. He suggested that we bring stuff for them. everything from candy to toys to socks and underwear. It's not mandatory but it comes highly suggested.

If you guys have ANY questions at all please ask BEFORE we all meet at training camp. I would hate for any of us to not have something because of misinformation. Can't wait to meet all of you in person!
