Hey gang, I'm a little late it the game, but here is a little about me:

01) My name is Hayley Robertson.

02) I live and am from Louisville, KY

(before you ask—yes, we do wear shoes)

:)

03) I'm a Sophomore at the University of Louisville and am pursuing a Bachelors degree with a major in English and a minor in Art. I wanted to be a teacher, but I don't know if that is what God wants me to do any more, my heart is toward serving the lost/unreached of the world.

04) I work nights at UPS Monday through Friday 12:00AMish-4:00AMish. I lift heavy, dirty boxes all night while sweating profusely. Their program pays 100% of tuition for college, otherwise I would go crazy working there!

05) When I have free time, I really enjoy going to coffee shops with a couple of friends and reading aloud a book of the Bible together. It's a great way to grow in community together and get more comfortable sharing your faith in public places all while learning more about the Lord.

I really like visiting pet shops and petting all the animals.

I also enjoy doodling, a lot. Maybe sometime I'll post a couple on here.

06) I really like bunnies, I have two: Fluff Daddy and Big Momma who are precious and potty trained!

I have curly hair, when people try to describe me physically it sounds like   "the girl with the curly hair". I get called weird a lot too, I guess that's unique.

07. I have been on many mission trips in the US, a lot in West Virginia, and Louisville serving the community and helping with the elderly and disabled. I take part in a homeless ministry called exit 0, the feeding is just a gateway to talk and listen to the homeless. I also serve at an orphanage called Bellewood, it's kids 13-18 who have been in many foster homes, abused and uncared for by their families. This school is mostly government run so we can not openly share the Gospel, but be there for the kids with a heart filled with Christ's love.

I have been to Haiti twice with BGM. It was amazing, they are very open to the gospel and hungry for the Lord. I honestly think they have more faith than a lot of Christians in America. They have such a dependence on the Lord and it's beautiful.

08) I am excited to just see God work, to glorify Him and to meet other Chtistians who want to do the same!! I guess I'm nervous about not knowing what to expect.

God has been teaching me to just depend on Him more. My family are not Christians and see this opportunity as a dumb decision, they are giving me an extremely hard time about it. I've been learning to just listen to the Lord more and follow him- even if I don't have my family backing me up. I also have learned recently that knowing biblical knowledge is far different than trusting the God of the Bible, this process is teaching me how to do that.
