Hey yall I’m Sarah Wohlgamuth!

I’m from Dallas but go to school in Tyler; it’s about two hours east of the DFW area. I’m currently a 4.5 senior at UT Tyler. I’ll graduate in December with an English degree and an Art History minor.

Even though I love learning, I’m so excited to be finished with school haha.

It’s definitely time for a break.

I have a 1-year-old dog that is kind of like my child. Kind of weird, I know…but she’s awesome. Her name is Riley and I’m sure you’ll hear me talk about her often. I grew up playing soccer, but decided to retire once I graduated from high school. So, my best friend has tried to get me into running, which kind of works on lucky days. I would say I enjoy riding my bike (a dream of mine is to do one of those really big races that lasts for hundreds of miles), but it’s currently broken and old.

Old, like my mom’s from the 70s, rust covered old.

I enjoy reading and writing (I’m an internal processor, side note), but when I’m in school, I’d rather do something just to clear my mind. Being outdoors is pretty sweet. I’d say I’m an adrenaline junkie; skydiving being the most “crazy” thing I’ve done. I’d freak if I could wind suit base jump.

That’d be legit. I have a tattoo on my wrist. It’s “doulos” which is Greek for “bond servant.” I got it two years ago this upcoming January.

I really enjoy listening and getting to know people. If you’re having a day, come on and chat it up; no judgments, I promise. I’m into deep conversations, but also goofy talks with crazy stories. I like trying new things, whether that is food, drink, culture, or whatever. I’m definitely a fan of watching people, but not in a creepy way. I also like bookstores, coffee shops, parks, documentaries, and piano.

I’ve been on a few trips throughout college. Kansas, Colombia, Serbia, and Indonesia were all non-AIM trips. Last summer, I went to India with AIM and fell in love. Hence, why the Lord is bringing me back. I believe India might be the country I’ll be in long term, so I’m absolutely excited to be back there.

Head bobble.

I’m just so pumped about being back in India. It’s just one of those countries that is indescribable…people who have been there before just have that special bond of “oh India." Not that my team last summer was bad (it was actually quite incredible and I love all my sisters dearly), I’m excited to be with a new group of people to share this part of my life with. I’m definitely looking forward to the community we’ll create and am stoked about seeing the Lord in each of you and His Spirit move throughout us to reach the beautiful people.

Speaking of the Spirit, get ready; I know without a doubt He’s going to rock our worlds and the worlds of those we will be ministering to. I’m so excited.
