Hey everyone! My name is Jasmine. I'm 17 years old from a little town called Venice in Southwest Florida. I graduated high school in June and intended on starting Bible college in California this fall, but God had something else planned! I felt Him telling me to stay, so this semester I'm hanging around town, investing into relationships and absorbing what God is teaching me. Currently I work at an assisted living community, and serve precious old folks in the dining room. Then next semester, you know what... we're going to India! I'm not sure whether or not His will is for me to go to college, but right now I know He has designed for me to go to the unreached. 

I'm in love with Jesus, and passionate about loving His people. I feel He's gifted me with a heart compassion and mercy. One of my greatest joys is to listen to others. I feel that God is calling me to counsel, ultimately among women and children who have been rescued from sex trafficking. 

I love; exercise, especially running, being outside, the beach, kayaking, reading, journaling, spending time with people, listening, organic food, foods from other countries, chai tea, foreign languages, learning, worship, small group, people, prayer.

Something random; I really would like to get a tattoo in India! .... can we do that?

About missions, this past June I went on my first mission trip to the country of Panama! We were there for about a month, and it was the best month of my life! I fell in love with the people; we served among the Kuna and Embera indians. God refined me, and rearranged my heart. He transformed my focuses, giving me a more eternal mindset. He solidified His call on my life for missions. So now I'm embarking on our journey to India!

I'm am so excited for this trip! Ever since I felt God put missions on my heart I have desired to go to South Asia. I cannot wait to build relationships with people, especially the kids. I'm super pumped to be there for four months. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Lord work through us and in us. I'm really excited to become close to the team! It's gonna be awesome. It's gonna be tough. Jesus will be glorified!
